Have either of you seen the orbital strike cannon. 😮

Yes. Cubemetric is...

let's just say that some people are talented.

I'm proud of my 3x3 door that I made, but I still have a lot to learn before I'm ready to do that.

I like redstone too!

Any specific type of redstone?

All kinds. I can do all kinds of simle doors and stuff that Mumbo does in his vidoes (most I've done is a 3x3 or a 4x4 vault if that counts.) I'm learning computational logic, which is turning out to be easier than I expected due to the two years of logic I've taken. I am currently working on a functioning two-digit calculator.

I've both of those doors and am currently trying to make a 2x2 hpister door that's activated by a button right next next to the door. I've also made a hidden nether portal and secret elevator (the top is grass and completely flush with the sorrounding area)

Nice! Are the doors and portal hider flush? Not judging or anything just curious

The portal is flush with the wall, the 3x3 is one block wide, and the 4x4 is a vault door.

*checks Google & yt.*

does bedrock not have flying machines?

if it does, ping me a design.

@Just_a_Fan

So, bedrock flying machines are bad, like, really bad. You have to have one sticky piston and one regular piston, and you need to make a platform for you to stand on so you don’t fall.

You place the regular piston in the direction you want to go, and the sticky piston facing the way you want to be behind you.

(This is because the normal piston pushes the sticky piston half, which pulls the normal piston half to itself.)

idea: a redstone "flint & steel" esque item. using it on a redstone compatible item lets you send a thing a charge, regardless of if you could place something there. might be handy for flight or something.

That’d be pretty awesome!

Also, potential spoilers for Scar’s Latest video (I think, it might be second latest?):

Spoiler

Anakin’s Revenge the Sand Shop lol 😂

@Ookla the Enigma why are they bad?

in the meantime, I've managed to make a TnT propellent anvil/sand/gravel/dragon egg/etc. launcher.

Slight tangent, but is anyone else watching Wild Life?

Yes! I love the life series. Which series is your favorite?

I can answer this. In Bedrock edition, running a one-tick pulse through a sticky piston does not cause it to spit out its block. In Java, putting a 1-tick pulse through a sticky piston causes it to push its block out like a normal piston. this means that you can use sticky Pistons to push a flying machine forward. In Bedrock, this doesn't work, meaning that you have to use normal pistons for this, which can't pull blocks backward. So, even a basic flying machine requires tweaking for going back and forth. When you get into larger machines, making them in Bedrock means the larger flying machines next to impossible.

They’re all great, but I would probably say 3rd life.

I agree. Third life has the best storytelling and interactions by far.

lag is a factor, but also the fact that you need one sticky and one regular piston and they only go one direction (depending on which way the regular piston is facing)

I play legacy (console edition) and my redstone seems to be mostly in line with java, but without anything past 1.13.

I do get some odd things, like I can push chests (>:) java), but only ones that are attached to slime blocks, not directly in front of pistons.
