Vine Posted September 29, 2011 Posted September 29, 2011 Does anyone know what typeface was used in the US hardback printing of The Way of Kings? I couldn't find it listed anywhere in the book. I found it to be very clean and readable, with subtle Latin serifs. It also has a very nice ligature between 'T' and 'h'. Thanks!
PeterAhlstrom he/him Posted September 29, 2011 Posted September 29, 2011 Adobe Caslon Pro. It's a very common font. I picked it, and I like the Th ligature too. I was using Lord of Chaos as my base book since it was a similar size, and I believe that book also uses a variation of Caslon (though it doesn't have the advanced ligatures). The metrics are pretty much the same at least. Warbreaker uses Adobe Garamond Pro. Alloy of Law uses Fairfield. 1
