Nerdy peruvian LF bookworm community

Nice to meet you everybody  I'm Moshi

I'm peruvian, and sadly my country is not exactly a book reading country ( :'( one of the lowest in Latam, 0.8 books read yearly in average) so finding a community to nerd about fantasy is really hard.

I'm a very art oriented (broke) person, I'm a professional graphic designer (doubly broke) and my hobbies are video games, singing, painting, drawing, reading and writing (added to the peruvian bit... I'm broke ++++).  

Anyway! I just started writing exuses xD and am marathoning the whole thing, that's how I found this forum!

Uhmmm. I think I googled "Best Fantasy books" when I bought my first kindle and was looking for new books, I found Mistborn there. That was like 8 years ago.

Welcome! I like that you found Sanderson the same way I did. After buying my Kindle and re-reading my old favorites on it, I googled best fantasy series. That random list led me to some great stuff, Mistborn, Farseer, Gentleman Bastards, and some stuff that flopped hard for me, like Malazan and The Dark Tower. So I'm glad to see I wasn't the only one.

Welcome to the Shard Moshi! I'm so glad you came here to join us to geek out about fantasy  That is too bad you don't find too many book-interested people around you but that only makes it all the better you are here with us. Plenty of us join from a lack of Cosmere irl friends so you are in the perfect spot!

That sounds like an awesome set of skills to have there whether or not you are reaping the rewards just yet! Graphic design is awesome we have a fair bit of hobbyists around here interested in that as well. And hey with singing, painting, video-gaming, reading and writing I think you are perfect for us!

Glad you decided to get involved over in Writing Excuses! We have tons of spring writers here and hope you find some awesome discussion to be involved in as well. Look forward to (hopefully ) seeing you around as well!
