Trizee Posted December 6, 2020 Posted December 6, 2020 In the past year and a half I've read a lot of Cornwell's books, and have just finished his newest book Warlord, which is the last of the Saxon Tales novels. Like most of Cornwell's works, this book was terrific. I think Cornwell managed to portray Uhtred as old in a convincing way without making him seem too frail or weak. So have any of you read Cornwell? What do you think of him?
Snorkel Posted December 7, 2020 Posted December 7, 2020 I read the first couple of Sharpe books. I wasn't compelled to read more because Sharpe came across as kind of a jerk.
