Looking for things similar to Poltergeist, Conjuring, Insidious, Mama, The Exorcist, etc. Bonus points for female protagonist in the 18-30 year old range and it does not have to have a happy ending-meaning I am fine if said main protag does not survive the ending. The series is meant to cover four seasons, with the first two books covering Fall and Winter.
