Oh my gosh, you are a genius and a lifesaver. I have nothing currently, but I will definitely be using this thread in the future. Can it also be used to ask for word suggestions/improvement? Like if you can't think of the right word to use for "someone wanting to smack another character upside the head" besides the word angry?

Of course! Might I suggest "miffed" or "[character] greatly wished to leave an imprint of his/her/their hand on [other character's] cheek"? The second one might be a little too odd sounding though :P

The concept was abstract  conceived in the wrong universe!
