It should be, "possessed," since the sentence and paragraph are all referring to something in the past (past tense). p. 362 - "Checkmated him? Nightwielder? Was that what she talking about?" It should be, "Was that what she was talking about?"
Karger he/him Posted July 13, 2020 Posted July 13, 2020 Do either of those count? Both of those refer to thinks people are "saying." David's formal education was limited. It makes sense he would make grammatical errors.
