Coppermind Traduction

Hi, I would like to translate as articles from the coppermind as I can to spanish, so I can make It more accesible. So, is there any way I can do this?

You want to talk to one of the Synod (the main editors) of the Coppermind -- probably Fbstj, Thegatorgirl00, Windrunner, or Chaos 2651. If you go to the Coppermind main page and then click the History tab, you can find links to all their pages and information about how you can contact them.

So we would like to have you translate. Currently we don't have things set up where there would be a special Spanish version of each page. I will need to investigate that.

I would be pleased to help as well. As you may know there is a big spanish fan community and not everybody has good english level.

As far as I know you are using Mediawiki, so here is the tutorial of how to manage translations:

Hi, at this stage we now do have Cosmere.es, the Spanish fansite, operating translations. If you go there, I am sure they will have info for how you can do so.

Hi everyone, I'm a little late to the party, but I wanted to know, is there something similar in French ? I'd like to contribute translating because I can't find anything on the internet remotely close to the coppermind in french. Is it possible to create translated versions of the pages ?

Welcome! Currently the only translation projects we have are Spanish and Italian. Setting up a new one puts some significant demands on us (e.g., creating and storing a copy of almost the entire database) and also is a significant undertaking for the translators (since Brandon writes a lot), so it's not something that we do casually, but I think (based on discussion from when the Italian project was getting started; I can't speak for the rest of the staff here) we'd be open to considering new projects if there's a group of people who all really want to work on a particular language.

I admit I wouldn't mind a wiki in French. Even if I won't be the best translator or the one with the most translated articles, I'll volunteer to help out if it ever happens...

You'll need to get in contact with the Spanish admin team. It looks like they have an application form; you can also jump in the #translations channel of our Discord server if you want to talk with them before submitting that form.
