Danthemystic he/him Posted March 21, 2020 Posted March 21, 2020 What kind of abilities would a person get from being able to Compound aluminum, the sort-of anti-magic metal of Scadrial?
The Cardinal of Death Posted March 21, 2020 Posted March 21, 2020 you would get is feruchemic ability of identity and non of its allomantic effect and we barely know anything on how eactly identity works and almost certanly no clue what near infinite amounts of identity would do to someone we could speculate but as far as i know we dont have much to go on
Renarin Kholin he/him Posted March 21, 2020 Posted March 21, 2020 I found a WoB on this. Quote FireArcadia Is there any use to being a copper Compounder, from a Feruchemical point of view? I think the same point would also apply to an aluminum Compounder. Brandon Sanderson Some combinations, like some abilities themselves, aren't really that useful. That said, being able to Compound copper...that could do some things. Aluminum, not so much. 1
IlstrawberrySeed Posted October 17, 2022 Posted October 17, 2022 The main use I can think of is compounding someone else's identity in order to use keyed metal minds, the same way as one with a hemalurgic spike. I would think that one would need to use duralium in order to not Destroy the invested aluminum, though.
