I suppose the real question is, when did Odium actually strike the decisive blow against Honor? Before or after the Last Desolation? How long after the last desolation did the Recreance happen? I don't think the amount of investiture needed would be significant for a shard. Spoiler Harmony did this with Spook to cure his Tin savantism.
