Also because currently they are using oathgates exclusively and not flying as a means of getting to the tower, they will not have come across any people living at the foothills. Only kaladin has come to urithiru via flying but even he did that at the head of a highstorm and would not have seen any people living at the foothills as they probably were hunkered down waiting for the storm to pass. But do you think these people would have any significance to the tower? You think these people might be descendants of servants of the urithiru that the Edgedancers were trying to relocate? I wonder if they have any legends passed on to them about what happened during the last few weeks before the Recreance. Welcome to the shard!! @The Witless I must say aren’t we all!!? 1
Karger he/him Posted January 10, 2020 Posted January 10, 2020 (edited) To be fair even at the inefficacy rate that Szeth used Stormlight they could be almost anywhere in the entire mountain range. Honorless he/him Posted January 10, 2020 Posted January 10, 2020 I don't think they realize he's a Surgebinder. They probably thought he was a spirit or spren or something like that, as Szeth muses. There seems to be a lot of countries with a nomadic way of life near the foothills of the mountains, they could be from one of them: Tu Bayla, Tu Fallia, Hexi
