Delightful
Has anyone seen it? From the trailer, it looks like a pretty cool/important movie, but something I can't define creeps me out. I've heard some people love it while others have walked put of the cinema. Do you guys have an opinion on this movie? (NB I'm currently writing a story involving AI and I'm thinking Her might be important since its that genre etc. but like, is it any good?)

Kobold King he/him
...It appears nobody has an opinion. *slowly backs away towards Newcago* I feel bad since you keep posting questions I can't answer... I haven't seen all the Writing Excuses episodes, and I'm usually pretty detached from modern movies. Have an apologetic waffle. If you're looking for other works of fiction featuring AIs, I can point you towards I, Robot by Isaac Asimov, 2001: A Space Odyssey by Arthur C. Clarke, and The Moon is a Harsh Mistress by Robert Heinlein. Those are all written by the three most influential sci-fi writers of the 20th century, show if you haven't read them all I'd definitely recommend doing so.
Iredomi
Well I don't know how spoilery this is but the film explores a romantic relationship with an AI, which includes almost everything a traditional romantic relationship includes... It is a really good film that I thoroughly enjoyed but was definitely quite awkward in some scenes.

The Writing Excuses board is pretty quiet, so that didn't surprise me, unfortunately I guess, but this board it usually more active. But hey, if it gets me sympathy points and waffles, all good, right? Well I don't know how spoilery this is but the film explores a romantic relationship with an AI, which includes almost everything a traditional romantic relationship includes... I see why that could be really weird and awkward....thank you for your honest opinion!
