When should Christmas be celebrated?

Halloween is a more fun holiday that deserves to not have its territory encroached on. Thanksgiving requires food comas, so you can't set up for Christmas then. Let Christmas stay in December.

I propose that if you live in the northern hemisphere, Christmas should stay the same date, but if you live south of the equator, Christmas should be in June. Because a hot, sweaty Christmas is about the most depressing thing I can think of.

I'm in the Northern Hemisphere and Christmas two years ago was 80 degrees.
