Zelly Posted July 20, 2019 Posted July 20, 2019 I couldn't find this posted anywhere else. Brandon reads a (tiny) bit for us! https://www.tor.com/2019/07/20/sdcc-brandon-sanderson-stormlight-archive-4-excerpt/ Nothing terribly juicy, a peek into current events with Venli in Kholinar. But I'll take it! 1
Toaster Retribution he/him Posted July 20, 2019 Posted July 20, 2019 Fun to see Leshwi having a bigger role. It is pretty fun that she is one of the best warriors among the Fused though, since Moash with a knife took her down.
Chaos he/him Posted July 20, 2019 Posted July 20, 2019 We made a news post on this Seems the Shinaian (who knows how that is spelled) is likely a type of Fused, I'd say probably the kind of Surge they are using. There was also the word Tisark in Oathbringer that could be another Fused type.
Nymeros Posted July 21, 2019 Posted July 21, 2019 What a guy. Constantly reminding me why he's my favorite author. Very, very pleased with this reading and with Leshwi having a large role. I found her immensely interesting in Oathbringer. A fraud though??? Wondering what my mans Moash is up to.... 5 hours ago, Chaos said: We made a news post on this Seems the Shinaian (who knows how that is spelled) is likely a type of Fused, I'd say probably the kind of Surge they are using. It could explain why the flying fused are those we see the most they likely fared better than others due to spiritual gravitation....maybe.
Odium's Left Sphere Posted July 23, 2019 Posted July 23, 2019 Or perhaps they are randomly assigned a form, but the ability to lash oneself when insane often leads to smashing into things or ending up in space without air? Of, if they do choose forms, I'd guess it would be the wind runner and edgedancer varieties, since both allow one to show off their gracefulness. 1
