Impact he/him Posted June 6, 2019 Posted June 6, 2019 So I happened to be randomly reading about Kabbalah (Jewish mysticism) and I noticed it talked about the idea of creation being a part of the "Shattering of Divinity" into 10 vessels. I wonder if that was at all an inspiration for Adonalsium and the shattering. So he definitely got some Kabbalah inspiration. I do still wonder about the shattering part, but this WoB is great, thanks.
Wander89 he/him Posted June 8, 2019 Posted June 8, 2019 Sanderson has a good way of including a whole load of religious aspects and shaping them to be their own aspects within the Cosmere. He certainly draws on personal experience and, although some of his views I do not agree with, is pretty open with the concepts of deities. 1
