It depends really. My first foray into Sanderson was Mistborn, then I tried Way of Kings and was just overwhelmed. I read Patrick Rothfuss' Name of the Wind and Ursula Le Guin's Earthsea and went back to Way of Kings and was fascinated by it all. It truly cemented its way into the top fantasy novels of all time.

I'm totally for Warbreaker, although while reading I got stuck in the middle for quite a long time. Then opened it one day and ended up reading untill 4 a.m. (finishing the book). As I really enjoyed Stormlight, I didn't fall in love with it.

Wow, Earthsea, love that. (sorry, had to react to someone mentioning one of my favourite fantasy). And I actually tried Name of the wind, love the way it is written, but I didn't manage to finish it. But it was years ago, I should probably try one more time.

Earthsea, though short, has some of the best fantasy I've ever read. I managed to buy the illustrated edition and it's got some gorgeous artwork!

I hate this question. Always. It really depends on what mood I am in. I think probably Oathbringer right now, but that is also the cosmere book that I most recently read in entirety, which tends to influence my opinions.

I’d have to say Oathbringer myself. The ending, especially on my reread, was amazing on so many levels. Not to mention Dalinar’s arc. So good.

I'm actually a huge fan of the Rithmatist. The magic system is definitely up there with anything from the Cosmere. In the Cosmere probably Bands of Mourning. So good

It’s Mistborn the Final Empire for me. WoR is a really close second, but Mistborn will always have a special place in my heart as the first cosmere book I read.

This may be a slightly weird answer to this question, but while I think Emperor's Soul is probably his best-written book, the one I always come back to for rereads is Steelheart. Part of that is probably because up until very recently, I was very busy with schoolwork and less willing to commit to reading longer and more complicated works, but I think there is also something about it that makes me reread it 6+ times and enjoy it every time.
