Not to my knowledge no. We see mistborn doing both at the same time because it allows their bodies to stand up to the strain of being pushed back on per Newton's second law. Pewter increases your physical capabilities.
0 SwordNimiForPresident the sword/that sword Posted May 12, 2019 Posted May 12, 2019 (edited) If you used iron to anchor yourself and pewter to keep from ripping yourself appart, you could push on something heavy without being thrown backwards. Vin does this when she opens the door to the Well of Ascension. Edited May 12, 2019 by SwordNimiForPresident
0 Mraize he/him Posted May 12, 2019 Author Posted May 12, 2019 I thought so, i just wasn't sure of the mechanics of it, thanks.
0 Ryan Diggory he/him Posted May 23, 2019 Posted May 23, 2019 The pewter could only be used to help anchor yourself, but would not make your push any harder. Only Duralumin can do that.
