I assume you are referencing something. Do you mind breaking it down for the uninitiated?

@Karger I think it's just an interesting correlation between all of the books. (which, if you didn't know, are all interconnected.

I am aware I meant is he quoting a line from each book and referencing the similarities between them or is their a larger meaning?

I think that he is just taking a famous line from Mistborn- “Ash fell from the sky”, and changing it to what it would be in other books. Ex. Stormlight is rain because of the highstorms.
