HopeDaPope Posted March 16, 2019 Report Share Posted March 16, 2019 Hi everybody! I'm in high school, and no one at my school reads Sanderson...so I thought I'd finally join the Shard. I'm really looking forward to seeing/partaking in all the theories and discussion. Stormlight is my favorite series in the Cosmere, but Kelsier is probably my all-time favorite character (I can't resist that charisma, lol). I'm reading Mistborn Era Two right now, and enjoying it a lot so far. I've also read Elantris, Warbreaker, Emperor's Soul, and Secret History. High fantasy is definitely my favorite genre (my boyfriend recently started me on Malazan...hopefully I'll be able to do the same for him with Cosmere!) 5 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I admire his determination, and like I said, the charisma is off the charts. I’m 17, and right now I’m a junior in high school. I got introduced to Sanderson through my 8th grade literature teacher (she recommended Mistborn). From there I discovered the Cosmere, and my mind was blown. I’ve always loved to write, but reading the Cosmere books has inspired me to try my hand at fantasy. Not many of my peers or friends are into reading and writing, so I’m pretty excited about this site! It’ll be a nice reprieve from stressing about college and testing and such.
