Any good novelization tie in books of videogames?

I know theres been alot of Assassin Creed novels along with Halo and Splinter Cell and those S.D. Perry Resident Evil novels.

 

I was just curious if theres been any novelization tie in books of Dead Space or not?

Are the Assassin's Creed novels any good? ... I mean, not Brandon-level good, but at least not bad?

There's Deadspace: Martyr and Deadspace: Catalyst. I've read neither, the only video game tie-in novels I have are the Halo ones (up to New Blood), which were really good for the most part, and the Runescape ones.
