Philomath she/her Posted February 3, 2019 Posted February 3, 2019 So I’m in the Kholinar part of my Oathbringer re-read and I was just wondering if Veil was just Veil and not Shallan, do you think Kaladin would like her? Would they actually be a good couple?
Jace21 he/him Posted February 3, 2019 Posted February 3, 2019 I am in the camp that Kal is actually better off alone at the moment and then when he does enter a relationship, it shoukd be someone with a lot less issues than any of Shallans personas. But maybe eventually Kal and a non-Shallan Veil could have worked.

Veil can take care of herself and she wouldn't be eating his brain with all of this "be here for the living" stuff, and he could even stand Tarah with this and still remembers her with warmth!
