Officer#340 he/him Posted January 19, 2019 Posted January 19, 2019 Hello, I'm Lee. I'm a big fan of Brandon Sanderson and his work. I love the Stormlight Archive and I have a Windrunner Glyph tattooed onto my arm. I love to read and I am an amateur writer. I'm a proud Correctional Officer and I really love my job. I'd like to finish a book someday, I don't really think I'm good enough to be published, though that isn't really my goal. I simply wish to finish something for myself. Let's see, what else? Well, I'm a big Magic The Gathering fan and I play that quite a bit in my free time. I also enjoy video games and obviously I read quite a lot. I haven't been on a forum for quite a while, but I'll visit when I can.
Ghanderflaffle she/her Posted January 19, 2019 Posted January 19, 2019 Hello there! I'm currently on my first read-through of the Stormlight Archive and am really loving it. Who's your favorite character in any of Brandon's works?
Officer#340 he/him Posted January 19, 2019 Author Posted January 19, 2019 Kaladin, easily. I love the development of his character and I love his self reflections and how everyone who follows him, simply believes in him. I love how he questions all of these things throughout the novels and the conclusions and realizations he comes to. How about you?
Ghanderflaffle she/her Posted January 19, 2019 Posted January 19, 2019 That's a tough one, but as of right now I'd go with Spensa or M-Bot as I really loved Skyward. This is subject to change as I haven't even made a dent in the cosmere yet, but I'm working on it.
Officer#340 he/him Posted January 19, 2019 Author Posted January 19, 2019 Spensa is pretty cool. I really liked her too. I hope you enjoy the Stormlight Archive, it's really something else.
Ghanderflaffle she/her Posted January 19, 2019 Posted January 19, 2019 I really like it so far, but I'm only about halfway through WoK.
+Invocation Posted January 19, 2019 Posted January 19, 2019 Hello! Welcome to the Shard! Have you read Brandon's MTG short story?
Officer#340 he/him Posted January 19, 2019 Author Posted January 19, 2019 Not yet, unfortunately. I want to, but I cannot read it at work here on the computer as it is blocked, and at home I am usually too tired. But I will get to it eventually, I hear it is great.

It's pretty good, at a pretty good cost: free!
Officer#340 he/him Posted January 19, 2019 Author Posted January 19, 2019 Yeah, free is always good! Especially since it's Sanderson's work.
