Best of the Year (2018)!

A thread for everyone to post their favorite entertainment things of the year, be it movies, games, books, or anything else! I’ll go first:

-Favorite movie: Avengers: Infinity War

-Favorite game: Smash Ultimate, even though I only played it once. 

-Favorite book: I am currently a very slow reader, so I’ll pass on this, but probably Skyward, when I finish it.

-Favorite Hero: Probably Hester Shaw from Mortal Engines

-Favorite Villain: I loved Thanos, but Killmonger takes the cake. 

So, what are everyone elses opinion?

Some of these categories were hard, I didn't buy something new everywhere, and I couldn't choose a single book...

I added another category: music.

 

-Favorite movie: Ready Player One

-Favorite game: I just realized my only new game was Kingdom come: deliverance. And it was ok... But I replayed the original Mass Effect Triology a few times, so I'll go with that.

-Favorite book: (not sortet) Skyward, An Empire of Ashes (Sarah J Maas), Ascendant's Rite (David Hair)

-Favorite Hero: Ka-Poel (Brian McClellan, e.g. Wrath of Empire)

-Favorite Villain: Colonel Janus bet Vhalnich (Django Wexler, The Shadow Campains)

-Favourite CD: Powerwolf - Sacrament of Sin

Favorite Movie: its been out for awhile but maybe "Your Name". If not that then Along with the Gods: The Two Worlds

Favorite book: Lots of good ones, but either The Wolf, Deadhouse Landing, or The Ember Blade

Favorite Hero: Thomas Senlin from Senlin Ascends. He starts off as uninteresting, but he really starts to grow on you

Favorite Villian: Tough one...maybe the ai (forget the name) from the short story The Rise and Fall of the House of the Wizard Malkuril

Favorite book: That I've read this year, KA: Dar Oakley in the Ruins of Ymr by John Crowley. Published this year? No contest, it was Space Opera by Catherynne M Valente. Seriously, only a John Crowley book published the year before could compete!

Favorite Book: Skyward

Favorite Game: Spider-Man PS4

Favorite Hero: Adonis Creed in Creed II

Favorite Music: The Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse soundtrack, both of them
