The Void [Shannara]

Do you think that, either in the Fall series, or in a mirror-image Genesis/W&V series, people from the Shannara world will ever fight the Void in itself?

I dont think so, at least not directly.  The Word and Void definitely have Champions, and there's every possibility of some sort of empowered avatar manifestation, but I dont really expect to see anything more personally/literally The Word or The Void than the sorts of sliver characters that existed later, characters like the King of the Silver River (aka the avatar/embodiment of "The Light of the Word").

What I really hope happens, is that there's a threat, from magic plus tech, or one or the other, or whatever, of a new nuclear-holocaust kind of event, so the "final battle" is to prevent that event. It would give the meta-series some well-earned symmetry, if such took place.

I could definitely get behind that, things coming full circle to a second apocalyptic event. There'd be some nice literary opportunity with the way the Knights of the Word sort of live in the present and future both.
