Hello and welcome, @Clyde Coggins! Welcome to the Shard, where you're bound to have quite an experience! Obviously, I would highly recommend you continue to read Brandon's books and hopefully find a love for them. Be careful on these forums though, they can be quite spoilery.

Fine. Good point. I won't try to dissuade @Clyde Coggins from taking it, I'll just tell him to ask you if it comes with any negative side effects. This way he can learn the truth himself and I won't have to be evil.

Heard that Clyde? Good. I want to see you ask that question first before accepting.

Hello! I am relatively new in the forum but a huge Brandon fan! and You have found this website before even you became addicted by reading multiple Brandon books so good job! 

I did not read Steelheart but I am sure it is epic!

I suggest you to start Mistborn series after this book! keep the Stormlight Archieve series for later because

1) it was the best of bests so far.

2) there will be quite sometime until the next Stormlight book ( 4th book) comes!
