The Shardbearing Elephant he/him Posted May 8, 2014 Posted May 8, 2014 Hey, guess what? if you haven't worked it out already i exist and i have a fondness for stating the obvious. Anyway i love all of Brandon Sanderson's work and i just finished reading WoR and have finally been able to come back on this site and look at all the cool theories in relation to future Stormlight So I'm The Shardbearing Elephant mainly because a war elephant in shardplate would be AWSOME! Despite being improbable . Well that's me and I look forward to using this site. 1
Delightful Posted May 8, 2014 Posted May 8, 2014 Hi Shardbearing ELephant! *gulp* what even made you THINK of a shardbearing elephant? That sounds completely terrifying! (though not as bad as a rampaging Reshi Island greatshell. Nothing can be more terrifying than that). Welcome! Have you read a lot of Sanderson's books? Do you know about the Cosmere! Have fun theorising with us mad people in this wonderful corner of the internet!
Quiver he/him Posted May 8, 2014 Posted May 8, 2014 Where's the Shardbearing Rohirrim when you need them? You and Delightful are right, a Shardarmoured Elephant is a pretty horrifying (though insanely awesome) idea. So, welcome. If you haven't read the other books in the cosmere, I recommend starting with Warbreaker. Anyway, welcome, and. I hope you enjoy yourself.
GreyPilgrim he/him Posted May 8, 2014 Posted May 8, 2014 Is there a Shardbearing Hannibal as well? Because that would have been pretty terrifying for the Romans... I agree with Quiver that if you haven't read the other cosmere books Warbreaker is a good starting point. Hope to see you around! 2
Kobold King he/him Posted May 8, 2014 Posted May 8, 2014 Is there a Shardbearing Hannibal as well? Because that would have been pretty terrifying for the Romans... Oh Stormfather... Caesar's Soothsayer was Hoid. 1
GreyPilgrim he/him Posted May 8, 2014 Posted May 8, 2014 Oh Stormfather... Caesar's Soothsayer was Hoid. History makes so much more sense now!
