whattheHoid she/her Posted November 1, 2018 Posted November 1, 2018 (edited) I don't think it's out of theaters yet, if it is out in theaters. If I can manage to get away from Nalthis and from the adventures of Geralt and Dandilion! Srsly, one of the best duos ever! Great Bros/wingmans! Edited November 1, 2018 by whattheHoid
Ammanas Posted November 1, 2018 Posted November 1, 2018 Watching the greatest Halloween movie ever made (in my opinion) Hocus Pocus. I'm not into horror movies and stories (except for Wierd authors like Clark Ashton Smith, HP Lovecraft etc) so I just find the movie a lot of fun! 1
whattheHoid she/her Posted November 1, 2018 Posted November 1, 2018 Ok, Yas yes! Hocus pocus the best movie!! So, I was trick or treating with my daughter tonight and the one house we were at.....the people handing out the candy were all dressed up as ........you guessed it, the Sanderson sisters! But like in the beginning of the movie, when they looked old and stuff. And they were in character!!!!!! It was amazing! You, sule, have great taste!! 1

whattheHoid she/her Posted November 3, 2018 Posted November 3, 2018 Nooooioioioio!!!! That's so long!!!!!!
Silva Posted November 4, 2018 Posted November 4, 2018 You all can join me in March and dress up then as well if the wait till Halloween is too long. No trick-or-treating, but yes costumes and candy.
Ammanas Posted November 4, 2018 Posted November 4, 2018 So I have a serious question that I was hoping for some feedback about. I just found my old monk costume. I am not catholic, but would it be considered insensitive or making fun of Catholics if I went around in costume next year flicking water around, making the cross, and saying "In nomine Patris et fillii et Spiritus Sancti"? I just think it would be fun, but I don't want make anyone feel bad. 5
Silva Posted November 4, 2018 Posted November 4, 2018 Depends on the environment. I'm not even Christian, so don't take my word on any of this, but some people may take it the wrong way. It honestly is a hilarious idea, though some may not feel that way. If you're somewhere with no Catholics, it probably would be fine. Anything can be called insensitive - that doesn't mean it's actually offensive in any way. 1
whattheHoid she/her Posted November 4, 2018 Posted November 4, 2018 @Ammanas So, I grew up Catholic, am not now. I would find that hilarious!!! I don't speak for everybody, but I would say go for it!! 1
+Ark1002 Posted November 4, 2018 Posted November 4, 2018 That sounds funny, and would be amazing to see. I bet there would be one or two people who would take it the wrong way, but I really think it is a great idea! 1

I'm not catholic myself (but christian), but almost everybody around (including my husband and he's very religious) and I think it would be half half. It depends on who you meet. My friends would all be relaxed and take it as some well owned criticsm, but if I take a look at my grandparents/ parents-in-law they would most likely be offended. You'll probably get more laughs, and people being offended over it would be much less likely. 1
