Is the German translation of Mistborn particularly bad? I've noticed with the translation of the Witcher books, in Last Wish there were a couple of phrases that lost its meaning, as they were probably Polish idiomatic phrases.

I never read Mistborn in german. Only Elantris and there a lot of things got lost with the translation.

Ooh...yeah I wish I could read all languages so I can read the original text for everything. Luckily, Brandon speaks and writes in English. So, yay!

Lucky you! But honestly, I read so few german books, that it feels strange when I start one, and I need a few pages to switch. There are a few german authors, that I like but not that many...

I still need to write a card, but I hope to be able to go to the post office by Tuesday. Depends on when I can leave work this week. At the moment it's kind of stressful and busy...

And then I am excited to see how long it will take.

But, worst case would you be getting the cookies in january, and that's not too bad either...

Just took a math final.  It did not go well .  I even ended up pulling an all-nighter studying for it, for all the good it did me.  And now I'm procrastinating studying for my chem final tomorrow by going on the shard because I am brain dead and I JUST NEED TO BE DONE WITH SCHOOL ALREADY.
