WeiryWriter he/him Posted May 9, 2014 Posted May 9, 2014 Another thing to keep in mind, Urithiru (and so presumably the Oathgates as well) was abandoned long before the Recreance. I'd think that the locking of the Oathgates was done to make sure Urithiru stayed abandoned. As for why Stormseat's wasn't locked, well no one was living there anymore, they might not have felt it was necessary to lock the Oathgate in a dead, and vacant, city. (Presuming they even knew where it was anymore. 1
