I've always been a Tolkien fan, but started branching out into other fantasy writers over the past year. My first big non-Tolkien series was Tad Williams' Memory, Sorrow, and Thorn, and then I started Way of Kings this past fall. I've since sped through Elantris and the Mistborn trilogy, finishing Words of Radiance a few days ago. I've really enjoyed Brandon's work, and am planning on reading more of the Cosmere novels next. I've made a few posts already, but just wanted to say that I've really enjoyed reading through a number of theory posts and have learned quite a bit already.
