Odd Thing With Reply

So whenever I reply to a thread I get something that looks like this:

It goes away and looks right once I hit refresh, but that is just weird.

Ditto. It vanishes once I leave or renter the topic.

It's also not appearing on every reply, and in fact has gotten really infrequent.

I think to only time I don't get this if I reply with quote. I think I get the other error mentioned in a different thread if I quote, but I haven't tested it to be sure.

Yeah, I've been noticing this a lot recently too. It must be related to all the problems the site has been having over the past month. Chaos was able to fix the speed of the site, etc., but this and the fatal error messages when quoting/mousing over users haven't stopped.

I don't think I'd noticed before, but I can't remember ever getting this error after quoting someone.

 

EDIT: somewhat ironically, I got the error after making this post. So apparently it can affect posts that include quotes.

I've had that issue regardless if I'm quoting another post or not, but not every time I post. Honestly, I'd attributed it to my own lagging internet, but if this is a site problem I'll keep an eye out for a pattern. I've also had the issue when editing a post. If I refresh the page everything appears normal again.

I believe it is related to the fatal error issue. I'm sorry I haven't been able to fix it sooner, but it is extremely bizarre and I literally do not know why it is happening.

There's also another problem - I think it's related, I can't start new topics sometimes, and it's usually when my replies turn into that gibletish as well.
