Moogle Posted April 1, 2014 Posted April 1, 2014 I know it was rhetorical, but really, where is the shard of Love? If everything has it's opposite, then Odiums opposite has yet to make an appearance. I agree with Odium's Shard here that the closest thing is Devotion. Which is now Splintered, courtesy of Odium. 1
Vortaan he/him Posted April 4, 2014 Posted April 4, 2014 I agree with Odium's Shard here that the closest thing is Devotion. Which is now Splintered, courtesy of Odium. I'd wager that Honor would probably be the closest to an opposite Shard for Odium of what we've seen so far. Maybe Endowment, also? It's hard to say, because hatred is something that inspires so many different behaviors.
Odium's_Shard Posted April 5, 2014 Posted April 5, 2014 But the kind of hatred that is described by the word 'odium' also implies separation as well as a complete disillusion of emotional connection. It's not just seething hatred, its a cunning and cruel hatred. It doesn't lash out, it plots the demise of all.

Dihatimus Posted April 25, 2014 Posted April 25, 2014 Is Harmony still a feruchemist? Perhaps he is quite beyond beings like allomancers and feruchemists as they are on scadrial. His core identity is still Sazed. Meaning he is familiar with storing bits of himself for use later. Can Harmony store (in a godlike manifestation of a metalmind) ruin to the point where he can tap it later for bursts of ruin power? When filling, can he then act with preservations' intent? 2

That would be... awesome, to say the least, but I don't know what he'd use as a focus for it. It could be a motivation for causing atium and lerasium to regrow in the world.
DSC01 he/him Posted April 25, 2014 Posted April 25, 2014 I've been thinking Sazed may pick up more Shards. Not in the near future, mind you, but what else would the endgame of the Cosmere story be, if not a resolution of the shattering of Adonalsium? Reunification isn't the necessary resolution, but it's not unlikely. Sazed currently has a narrow lead in holding all the Shards and becoming a neo-Adonalsium.

Can Harmony store (in a godlike manifestation of a metalmind) ruin to the point where he can tap it later for bursts of ruin power? When filling, can he then act with preservations' intent? On the Q&A Thread Brandon mentioned that Sazed's body is still out there somewhere, and is still a Feruchemist, though it doesn't really matter anymore to him. One baseless Mistborn Question: 1) Does Sazed's biological body still exist somewhere? If so, does that body still possess Feruchemical abilities? Yes, it does exist, though kind of...blended-in, so to speak, as happened with the others when they ascended. Yes, it still has his abilities, though they are kind of moot now.
