Hemalurgic crucifixion

It's been on my mind for a while, though it took me a while to put it to words, but...

I daresay there might be some thematic connection between Hemalurgy's relation to the Spiritual Realm, and the role of nails in the Crucifixion. (And the notion of a "quincunx," then, for that matter...)

I doubt Adonalsium was crucified to death, but I do wonder if something akin to Hemalurgic spiking was involved... Maybe he was killed with a sword/swords, and that fact is related to the different kinds of magic swords that keep showing up in the Cosmere.

As far as I can remember, the only magic swords all have their roots in Honor.  Tanavast made the Honorblades, which were then replicated by the spren in Shardblades, which were then replicated (with weird results) by Vasher with Nightblood.

Also, [OB] spoilers:

Spoiler

Azure's Invested sword in Oathbringer was likely based off of Nightblood

It could very well be based on the same fundamentals as hemalurgy. The intents actually being pieces of Adonalsium's spirit web. Essentially the original shard bearers using that spirit web to key the investiture to themselves.

With the way Adonalsium broke up there must be some odd circumstances. Adonalsium naturally should have dropped the shard of Adonalsium and not specific intents. Just like how Sazed would now drop Harmony. It takes effort to seperate.
