"The panthers are a world hopper gang, They rob, steal and kill. They appeared after the catacendere. I ran with them for a couple decades before leaving. They got pretty mad at me for that and have been trying to extort me ever since, and they finally found me here. They track me down from home to home. I usually have to pack up and move to a different planet. I think I might try silverlight"

A small beep sounded from Devaan's ear.

"Or. We could track them to their base, and take them down." Devaan said, grinning. They had gotten sloppier since he stopped running the gang a couple hundred years ago, but they always changed base every month. He finally found what base they just moved to. It was on Roshar. Deep underground a place called the waystop.

"Agree with tracking down. Solve problem permanent." Deras acknowledged.

man, poor Waystop, first a bomb, and now Yzabet just happened to set up shop on the mountains above where an underground evil lair is. I can't wait for the misunderstandings that happen when we get there, oh man

“There is no way we are not tracking them down,” Pry said. “Count me in.”

Mejin just shook her head. “I’m heading off. There’s been enough violence going on for me - I won’t go straight towards it.”

Lets move this over to the waystop. If I am witless has a problem with it, we'll go back to here

"Oh sure! I'll be using Atius in the fight, but feel free to take a weapon from the rack" Devaan lifted Atius, he had no idea why Riathor had returned the blade after the taldian expedition, but he would use it.

"Have weapon." Deras nodded, and summoned the sword into his hand, then let go so that it dropped back into mist. "Was meaning armor and equipment? They were tough opponents, and many of them. Doubt only having weapons would help much." Deras said then looked up at the ship in still in the sky, they had guns, and the team might need guns if they were to fight much more of those 'Panthers.' "Will be right back."

Having his body fully healed now, he leapt onto the sole structure in the training grounds to get elevation. Climbing to as high as the building reached, he gripped tightly and waved at the gunship, hoping to get its attention.

Sorry 'bout the delay.

Also, I will be out for most of the day, so I can't respond. I'll be free tonight, though.

The Thunderhawk sailed slowly towards the gates, touching down on the ground in a cloud of dust. The engines kept roaring though, and the front ramp dropped, smashing through the gates and crashing into the ground.

that's alright

Deras jumped back down from the height, his enhanced muscles dampening the damage to his legs, and whatever wasn't dampened was being worked on by his regeneration. Deras jogged up to the ship that just touched down. He looked into the opening and began to speak, climbing up the ramp a bit so his voice wouldn't be lost amidst the loud roar of the engines. "Will need equipment." He said, voice still raised so it could be heard. "But I understand you may not affiliated with groundsmaster, and may not assist directly, provide equipment will be enough, especially guns." Deras nodded, making his statement as short as possible without losing its meaning.

Devaan stared at the now destroyed gates. He was tempted to jump at the thunderhawk and tear it apart. But It would be easier to rebuild it. He drew a card, jack of books. Forging, he tapped connection, and drew another card, queen of shields. Soulcasting.

He tapped connection towards the gate and it's cognitive self, and then fed it stormlight while forging it, tapping both cards dry, he'd need to get them replaced as the gate shone and fixed itself.

If this tech seems too much let me know, I figured it would be ok since the black crusade is a thing.

"Break that again and you'll be the ones who need fixing!" Devaan called to the thunderhawk cheerfully, he turned away and walked into the smeltery next to the house, the armour rack was there. He didn't need any, but just in case, he picked out three small strange necklaces he had purchased from a boundless world for a chunk of electrum, supposedly an extremely rare metal there. He put one on, and tapped the glass pendant twice, his head was quickly enveloped in a sleek black helmet with a visor. That visor had a hud the monitored his vitals and health in the bottom right coner of Devaan's vision.  He looked at Deras who stood on top of the house, he had a red marker above him, with a few simple commands (that took Devaan far too long to figure out) he changed Deras' icon from red to green, and handed tossed him a necklace

"for the fight" He shouted towards the lifeless after turning his helm back into a necklace.

we just ninja'd each other's post, whoops XD that's ok though, not too much difference

Deras caught the necklace, and looked at it, slightly confused. He saw what the necklace did, but he wasn't really sure what it was. "What is, and how use?" He yelled over at Devaan, gesturing to the necklace that deras begun to put on.

I won't really be doing much on the Shard today, so I can't respond. Just assume that the guys on the Thunderhawk are willing to fly Deras (but not Devaan) to the Waystop.

And Nohadon, I'm willing to start a war over this point. They really don't like you right now. Don't get on the storming Thunderhawk.

Pry glanced about. Mejin had already left. She noticed a slip of paper in her hands.

I can get you there faster. It’ll take them a while to figure things out. You know where to go. It read.

She chuckled softly. She’d had a feeling Mejin would end up at the Waystop, Pry just hadn’t been quite sure how.

”I’ll meet you at the Waystop,” she told Deras and Devaan, then went to meet her friend.

Alright, but I'll wait until you can RP again before making a post myself, are they also willing to lend some equipment like bolters and armor? (even if it's just like some crem-tier flak armor lol since I don't think they'd be willing to lend actual power armor to someone they didn't know even if he did help out with Orren)

it's gonna get real nutty when they get there since the Waystop just installed anti-hemalurgic abomination turrets which it'll think Deras is one, though Ark1002's character is affiliated with the Black Crusade right? So maybe Deras won't actually have to take cover if he goes up to the 'Stop if Kerith calls in prior XD

also @Nohadon can we just assume that the necklace Devaan tossed over to Deras had comms? So Deras has a justification with why he's going to the Waystop first, which would be recon

I think I'll make Devaan meet you there if you want to wait for Grey Knight to post again

"Tap the glass" Devaan told Deras, when he did, and the helmet eneveloped him, he went through the simple commands he figured out, and over comms said:

"I'll meet you there. Let me know if the thunderhawk breaks my gate again, and please let them know I'm sorry for almost killing Orren. I wasn't having the best of mornings."

He drew a card and vanished in the cognitive realm. He started on his way to the waystop. Without Tia cards it would take him about an hour to get there through scadrial, two if he had to go through Nalthian customs. They weren't fans of type IV awakened entities.

@Grey Knight alright!

Deras confirmed what Devaan said and tapped the glass on the pendant, it projected itself into a helmet, materializing from lines of light, then he tapped again so that it dissipated.

He turned back to the ship and climbed aboard. "I assume know where destination is, will lend guns and armor?" He asked.

also, let's just assume the Panthers who are knocked unconscious have been detained by the Skybreakers,

A black-armored marine stood inside the Thunderhawk's troop bay, next to the unmoving dreadnought. At least six mechanical arms sprouted from his back, poking into the dreadnought's hull and holding tools.

"That depends," it said. The voice was oddly flat and mechanical. "Do you know the proper rituals to appease the machine spirit?"

Hellbent the Pheonix landed on the training ground roof. She dropped Astiel and watched him intently.

"Oh storm this" Astiel got up

The pheonix started screeching and snapping at Astiel

"Fine! I'll stay down!" Astiel yelled, lying back down on the hardwood roof. The Pheonix chirped happily in response.
