Wolven he/him
Greetings fellow Sanderson fans. I just finished reading Words of Radiance today and....my...gods....was it ever phenomenal. I was having a seriously difficult time putting that book down, was not getting enough sleep because of it, lol. I want more, more, more, more. The Stormlight Archive is turning into one my favorite series ever, and Kaladin has moved into my list of top five favorite characters ever. Looking forward to discussing things here!
Nepene he/him
Hiya. Welcome here, fellow fan. I hope to have many discussions with you on Kaladin and others. Have you read any of Brandon's other books?
Wolven he/him
I have read the 'Mistborn Trilogy', really loved that of course. I am slightly ashamed to say that I didn't even know about Brandon Sanderson until I found out that he was finishing up the 'Wheel of Time' books. Before I read 'The Gathering Storm' I gave 'The Final Empire' a read and from that moment decided that not only was Sanderson worthy of finishing up Jordan's books, that I might actually like him a bit better than Jordan. The Mistborn books really blew me away. I love how he creates these new systems of magic, Allomancy was incredible. Then I found 'The Way of Kings' and I just...wow...it's hard to find words to describe how much I love 'The Stormlight Archive'. Needless to say, I am a pretty huge fan of the guy now. And now that I have delved more into this Cosmere idea, which I didn't even know anything about at all before reading stuff about it online, I am definetly going to have to go through and read them all. This idea of this overlapping story throughout all the different worlds is really amazing, and I am just as eager to see how that plays out as I am the stories of those individual worlds. Truly, Brandon Sanderson is something special.
Nepene he/him
Brandon is pretty good. Robert Jordan can be as good as Sanderson, but he let his writing go in the later books a fair bit with too much tugging of braids. Whereas Brandon constantly works to improve. Mistborn is a very awesome series too. You should read Emperor's Soul. It's another awesome magic system in the cosmere.
