Hello there...

New member here, relatively new to the Cosmere.  So far I've read the original Mistborn trilogy (which I loved), The Alloy of Law, and I'm currently on Shadows of Self.

My plan from here is to finish Wax and Wayne and then probably move to Elantris, then Warbreaker, and then finally delve into the Stormlight Archive (can't wait for this).

Anyway, just wanted to introduce myself and really look forward to contributing!

Welcome! Beware of spoilers for the books you haven't read! other than that, there are lots of places to try out. You may have to be careful if you don't want to learn anything about other magic systems. 

If you're into RP you can visit the Community and find clans, guilds, and other groups. But here people have made characters from all the different cosmere planets, so other magics will be discussed

Or you can try my favorite spot, the Sanderson Elimiation, which is a Mafia-styled online RP game. Some basic info of the magics may be discussed, but mostly nothing too crazy.

Other than that, inquire about what is in a cookie before you accept it, and then determine if the ingredients match your personal morals, and make sure you don't accidentally give your soul away. There's nothing wrong with giving it away on purpose, and often you can sell it for a good price.

Around here, we like to say "My life to yours, my breath become yours" as a greeting. You should try, you say it first!

 

Also, what is your favorite thing from the wax/wayne books? (Wayne is my favorite character/Spirit Animal)

I’m on about the same page as you Peter (no pun intended) except I’ve finished Bands of Mourning.

Some advice, don’t accept any cookies unless you know they don’t have spikes.

Well I'm only halfway through Shadows of Self but I love the dynamic between Wax and Wayne - so different on so many levels yet they understand each other and work nearly perfectly as a duo.  I guess I'll go with that.
