Toaster Retribution he/him Posted March 3, 2018 Posted March 3, 2018 ...is that it is too big! I have an entire shelf dedicated to Cosmere books, but I can't keep Oathbringer on there, for fear that it might collapse (its not that stable). Brandon writes so much that it is hard to collect all his books properly. Anyone else having these kinds of troubles? 3
Spoolofwhool Posted March 3, 2018 Posted March 3, 2018 Wait for the paperback version. It will be slightly lighter.
Carla Bridge Four Posted March 3, 2018 Posted March 3, 2018 Anyway, I think I'll be keeping Oathbringer next to my desk for at least 2 years hahaha for the "casual" re-read
Tesh Any pronouns Posted March 3, 2018 Posted March 3, 2018 It has a yellow cover. Seriously, three days at school, and there's fingerprints all over it! And it wouldn't fit in my backpack.
Stormblessed Dolphin he/him Posted March 3, 2018 Posted March 3, 2018 That sounds like a nice problem to have @Toaster Retribution I wish I had it. I don't own any Cosmere books..
Ammanas Posted March 4, 2018 Posted March 4, 2018 Ever sense I got my e-reader I think I will be purchasing the majority of my books in the electronic format. I fought the e-reader for a long time, but I love it!

For most books, I will read them first on kindle, as its just so much easier, and then if I like them, they are allowed to go on my bookshelf and make a fine addition to my collection. However, I have ended up with 3 different versions of Elantris on my bookshelf 1
Sami she/her Posted March 7, 2018 Posted March 7, 2018 I own exactly two in-the-flesh (or rather, paper) Sanderson books.
Duke of Lizards she/her Posted March 7, 2018 Posted March 7, 2018 My biggest problem is similar: Oathbringer sits on my shelf next to the previous books and the title on the spine is SO DIFFERENT from the other two. It throws off the fine symmetry that I worked so hard to achieve on my bookshelves...sad.
