MountainKing
Ba-Ado-Misram's power is the ability to grant voidbringer forms and voidlight to power them. We also know that his Connections to the Dawnsingers must be powerful enough to damage their Identity. So I think that when Ba-Ado-Misram grants forms of power, he's not giving them spren to bond with, but instead have them bond with himself. When a spren bonds with a Dawnsinger, their identity changes to match their new form, but if their spren who was connected to both their Identity and Connection was sealed away, while still connected to the Dawnsingers. Their Identity and Connection could have been sealed with it, giving us the state the Parshmen are in now. But what happens to all that Identity and Connection when Ba-Ado-Misram is freed? RShara she/her
That's basically what the current theory is, though most think that there are spren involved as well. There's a couple threads floating around that have some good speculation in them.
