Question(s) for the group.

Do you think the Dagger is made of Odium's God Metal?

Separate do you think the Sapphire is just "any old Sapphire" or is it to a "perfect" Gem like Honor's Drop?   (So need a perfect Gem to capture any UnMade/Herald).

My personal opinion is it's is a God metal, and it is a Perfect Gem, and that on Roshar their exists a "perfect" Gem for each of the Orders/Colors.  Nothing to base that on, jut my gut, but I am wondering what others think,

I agree that the dagger is likely made from Odium’s god metal, although we don’t have confirmation.

We do, however, have a WOB that there’s a different gemstone for each Herald.

Is the sapphire in the white-gold blade specifically for Jezrien?

Brandon Sanderson [PENDING REVIEW]

Uh, yes.

I've also seen in other threads that's there's is  a WoB of it also being related to hemalergy , I think instead of the blade just severing his body And soul sending him back to braiz , his soul or the oathpackt itself is what was sucked into the sapphire instead of being sucked into the metal . A combo shardblade healergy spike .

He said it’s similar but not quite the same.  I agree that this is the mechanism by which Odium is attempting to break the Oathpact.

Have we seen any evidence of Hemalurgy on Roshar? And, as sort of an addendum, given the end of Oathbringer, was what happened to Jezrien Hemalurgy?

Brandon Sanderson [PENDING REVIEW]

There are certain cosmere philosophers that would count it. I would divide it as two separate things that are using similar fundamentals. I wouldn't call it myself, but there are people who would disagree with me in-world. Have we seen evidence? I would say no evidence that is easy to pick out.

But it's there?

Brandon Sanderson [PENDING REVIEW]

Yes, there are people with Hemalurgy who have been to Roshar. I'm pretty sure they've been on-screen.
