MinovskyPhysics
The titular Stormlight Archive probably refers to the gemstone-library in Urithiru. It's literally an archive of knowledge left by the Radiants and only accessible using Stormlight. Every book in the series so far has been named after an in-universe book. It's only fitting that the series itself is named after an in-universe library. Edited November 23, 2017 by MinovskyPhysics
knightedbishop he/him
Or it’s the name of the collection of volumes in the series. Each RL book name has used an in world book title. Perhaps these ten titles form not only the RL Stormlight Archives, but also an in world set of texts, that when viewed as a whole, give deeper meaning than their individual writings.
Calderis he/him
I'm having trouble searching for it, but this has been brought up a few times and there is a WoB. Knightedbishop is correct, the name is in reference to the collection of in world books the books are named after. There is no in world "Stormlight Archive." +Extesian he/him
Quote Kanrei Is "Stormlight Archive" reference to any in-world or in-Cosmere place or item? Brandon Sanderson No, it just archive of ten books which all have titles based on inworld books, but no Archive or something like that on world.
