Snorkel Posted November 5, 2017 Posted November 5, 2017 It's weird. Edgedancer is out on Kindle..except on Amazon's US, UK and for some reason Indian stores. It is out in ALL the other Amazon stores, so it seems pretty weird to have the two largest English speaking ones excluded. Is it a mistake? *confused*
BeskarKomrk he/him Posted November 8, 2017 Posted November 8, 2017 Maybe this has changed in the past few days, but Amazon US shows me a Kindle edition of Edgedancer. So I would say check again?
Snorkel Posted November 10, 2017 Author Posted November 10, 2017 (edited) Ah, I see, it's a region thing. Amazon must hide Kindle results for me from other English speaking countries, because they want me to buy it from Australia (at $17 LOL). But I guess the non-English speaking country stores show me their results because their books usually aren't in English. Odd though, I started looking because one of my UK friends said it wasn't on the store for him. (I use Kobo, and for me it's not on my local store at all for that. Bah) Edit: No wait, the Australian store just redirects me to Arcanum Unbounded (which explains the price). So I'm not seeing Edgedancer in any English speaking store at all. Oh well, regional stuff is always going to suck. Edited November 10, 2017 by Snorkel
Tanner V Posted December 8, 2017 Posted December 8, 2017 TBH I'm not sure if edgedancer is really worth the purchase. I bought it but didn't realize it was only like 200 pages. I guess it is more of a novella than a full novel
LordMoose he/him Posted December 8, 2017 Posted December 8, 2017 (edited) I would say it is definitely worth a purchase if you are a collector of the physical books – Lift is an immensely funny character! It is indeed a novella. A safer bet would be to purchase the "Arcanum Unbounded", it comprises of several novellas in the Cosmere.
