Was Tien a potential surge binder?

Hey 17th Sharders. I'm new to the community and in the middle of a Stormlight reread in prep for Oathbringer. I've been thinking about some of the similarities in description of Tien and Shallan, particularly about how they responded to the weaping and how they seemed to bring light to their family. Tien would make Kaladin happier during the weaping; Shallan kept her family from falling apart. Since part of Shallan's bond allows her to help people become the people they should be, and this is tied to Cultivation, I'm wondering if Tien had some connection to Cultivation also and could have developed into a Light Weaver if he had survived.

Would have been interesting, I liked Tien even if he was short lived. I am also rereading and noticing things I missed the first time around.

I was thinking what if Renarin ended up being a Radiant, how would most of you receive this?

Edit: glad I read the book again  it has been so long I had forgotten that yes Renarin is meant to "see"
