At least three of the four of the Dawn Cities Kabsal had cymatic patterns for have Oathgates. We don't know about Akina yet. And Jashnah asked if he had a pattern for Uirithiru.

Well, Urithru is sort of the center of everything with consideration to Oathgates. Perhaps it takes the combined notes of the other Dawncities, a Chord if you will, to create it's pattern.
