Man of hours

So I've been rereading Shadows of Self and I came across a potential worldhopper reference in chapter 2:

Quote

"Yeah, the man of hours!" one of the boys said, laughing and referencing a figure from old nursemaid tales...

..."Yes, the man of hours," Marasi said. "Where did he go?"

"To the edge of dusk,"  the boy said. "Haven't you heard the stories?"

To me this sounds like a reference to someone who travelled to First of the Sun or somewhere in that planetary system, but maybe that's farfetched. I know there has been some speculation about a connection between the visitors in SotD and Scadrial, but do we know anything more about that? Or anything about who this might be?

Eelakins name their children thematically "(birth order) of (birth time)". Similarly there could be an Eleventh of the Dawn but that does not mean any connection with the Dawnsingers.

If I were to make a guess, I would say that the Man of Hours is their version of Father Time.

Kelsier. In SH, Kell went to the edge of Cognitive Scadrial to find the Ire. After coming back (however he did) from the Cognitive Realm, I think he sneakily put his own story into folktales and fables.
