A Wall Flower No Longer

I've been a wall flower for awhile now, but with the slow release of the Oathbringer chapters, I feel like it is time to jump in.  It thrills me to be a part of a story and watch it unfold and to hear other's viewpoints that I hadn't considered.  Upon reading the first 3 chapters of Oathbringer -- I have a few ideas that have not yet been brought up yet -- so I figure I might actually have a few viewpoints to contribute. (Yes, it has only been a few hours, so I'm sure others noticed the same things I noticed)  I am absolutely loving reading and fully digesting these chapters before the next course is served.

I was introduced to Sanderson by my teenage son, and have read all of his published works (minus the Wheel of Time Books) this past year and have enjoyed them immensely.  My son learned at a young age that the best way to get your parents to pay for your hobbies is to get them hooked on them with you.  So, yes, I pre-ordered Oathbringer for him.  Or is it for me?  Or do I need another copy now???

Really -- I love them all. My favorite seems to be the one I'm currently reading!

Way of Kings was my first Sanderson book, and so that has a soft spot for me.  After reading the rest of the cosmere and then going back to Way of Kings it was a completely different book.  I loved how Words of Radiance built on WoK and I'm assuming that the rest of the Stormlight series will just enhance my admiration, appreciation, and awe for WoK as each new book is released.  There is so much in WoK that is in plain sight, yet I don't see it.  I'm enjoying the journey! WoK gets better with each new Stormlight Book.

My second choice would be The Hero of Ages.  I loved how that all tied together.

Thanks for cookies tip!  Wouldn't want anything bad to happen.

Same about tWoK. But I learned about the Cosmere shortly after starting WoR.

THoA is also really good. The ending was heartbreaking, but absolutely amazing.
