Dsquared Posted August 21, 2017 Posted August 21, 2017 I witnessed shadow bands at the peak of the eclipse today in Oregon. It was 99.96% totality where I was. The shadow bands are an unexplained phenomenon and made me immediately think of spren. I count myself lucky to have experienced this and it was somewhat moving. 3

Eilemelie Posted August 23, 2017 Posted August 23, 2017 Living in Europe there was no eclipse for me at all, though I have some time ago experienced the northern lights (during a firework even) I suppose that's another natural phenomena with a spren-esque feel to it.
