RojoD Posted July 30, 2017 Posted July 30, 2017 What would happen to a spren if a member of the Knights Radiant died? Would it go insane like the Shardblade spren, or would it return to the cognitive realm?
Lightspine Posted July 30, 2017 Posted July 30, 2017 I believe there's a WoB saying that it is a bit traumatic and painful for the spren, but the spren survives and can form another Nahel bond. There is evidence even without this WoB: Syl mentions Kaladin is not the first person she's bonded with.
