And I've already got a thought. Why is it that the humurous (how ever it is spelled) isn't called the funny bone?

Have you ever tried that thing where you cross your fingers on both hands, put the middle fingers together, and then tapped your forefingers? (Still with middle fingers attached.) I always found that it felt really weird.

Ditto! And does the person actually laugh when they hit that bone? I know friends do because that's just what friends do, but still...

I one time thought, why is impending doom have the word pending in it. Doesn't it mean waiting? And then I thought " OHHH! Impending doom=Awaiting doom"

Was working at the museum today and wondered "What would I do if a kid came up and licked one of the objects?" Yell at them? Laugh myself silly? Hmm...

Has anyone wondered why cars are parked on a driveway, but drive on a parkway?

I spent 10 minutes wondering how soap doesn't get into cars when they are cleaned. 

 

Then I REALIZED: Cars don't get rainwater into them. Why on earth would soap get into them?
