The only thing I've been able to find about resonances concerning number of powers is the one already in this thread. @Extesian on resonances and how they function the reason I like the musical chord analogy is that the resonance between notes happens because of, but independent to, the notes themselves and I think that fits. Either the sound waves merge and resonate, or they interfere with each other and there is nothing in addition to the notes.

I'm not a musician) that represents those two notes. When you're playing a dozen different notes in varying ways, there are too many combinations, not one distinct chord. The disharmony of Melkor.
