Zmaray he/him Posted May 17, 2017 Posted May 17, 2017 How strong would one be if they were a lerasium savent burning duralumin and pewter, whilst infused with Stormlight and wearing Shardplate? 1
Lord Bookwyrm he/him Posted May 17, 2017 Posted May 17, 2017 You'd be unimaginably strong, but you would be stornger if you compounded pewter at the same time. 1
kenod Posted May 17, 2017 Posted May 17, 2017 Quote Interview: Sep, 2012 Cosmere Q&A - 17th Shard (Verbatim) Douglas What about a Lerasium savant? Or would that require so much Lerasium that the person attempting it would ascend to become a new Shardholder? Brandon Sanderson Basically, this is what ascension is. http://www.theoryland.com/intvsresults.php?kw=savant So you would basically be as powerful as Preservation I guess?
BrightVoid he/him Posted May 18, 2017 Posted May 18, 2017 By the time you are a lerasium savant you definitely would have ascended, as which point you cease to have a physical body. While you might be ridiculously powerful, your strength would be zero as you don't have a body to move things with.

Ruin could alter text as long as it isn't in metal. They can definitely effect the physical realm, but it has to have limitations. I'd think that maybe they can only move things on a massive scale, but text alteration seems to contradict that. Ruin was deprived of much of his physical power by the atium though, so perhaps he was limited farther than normal. I'm fairly certain that having ascended would negate the need for any other strength enhancement.
